I have 2 questions:

1. Will the JR Carbine in .45ACP accept the same magazines as the Glock G30, Gen4 .45ACP?

2. Does anyone know of a dealer which has the JR Carbine .45ACP in stock/for sale?

Thanks for your time

will sell my 9mm for $800 between 200-250 rounds thru it, juss not a rifle guy

I see them at $899 everywhere, more for the camo models. Anyone have the .40 and like it? I've seen a bunch of YouTube reviews on the JR and they are positive. Non-Restricted & 10rds is also a plus. This guy seems to be having fun with his:

Nobody sells them new for 800$ but pretty darn close to it. I wouldn't pay more than 750$ shipped for a used JR Carbine. Not worth saving a 150$ over new. I not that cheap.

Trouble is once you add in 13% (at least in ON) you're in for well over $1000. Haven't seen many for under $800 used.

Yeah no HST. In BC dude. It's still a low cost high production carbine. Not like its a unique semi hard to get firearm. I fact the 45 ACP is easy to get as many are fearful of it due to its history of having many issues.

Wanstalls, BC has JR Carbines in 9mm, 40 SW and 45ACP
Make sure you request the srial number and check with JRC before buying it. JRC had numerous problems with low run serial numbers, but anything in the 50000 range you should be a ok

I have one in 45 - feeds great and is fun to shoot.

Glock or 1911 mag version? I think it is (was?) the Glock mag version that was having some feeding issues. If yours works fine that's great. Some have had problems, however. The 9mm and 40 S&W versions have been pretty dependable after early version bugs were worked out.

Hmm i was almost ready to buy the 9mm from what i heard about the 45 having feeding issues. Now i am torn, the newer versions seem to cycle reliably?
