My new GA(glock mag) 9mil Thueron Defence arrived via Canada post on Vancouver Island this morning. I have been tracking it all week all the way from Newfoundland.
So far, I have only had time to take it out of the box and put it together.
I have to admit (IMHO)this little carbine is a little more intelligently designed than my 9mil JR.( not trying to open a can of worms, I think)
Why I say this is.
It breaks down easier , you do not have to remove the butt stock to get at the bolt. The charging handle is not dependent on a lock washer, to stay secure. So I should be able to take it to the range with out packing any hex head wrenches.
That said I still really like my JR , because it is very accurate. So I will have to find time to get the new Thueron up to the range and try it out.
If anyone is interested in comparing the two 9mil carbines. I could try and post some photos. If my schedule allows me the time.
