Jr carbine YHM foreward hand grip not fitting properly

Just an update on my end.

Went to install the fore end yesterday and experienced the same problem as others have had, the barrel nut is torqued tight but there is still a gap allowing the barrel to wobble,

What kind of shim is suggested? And where would I find it ?
