If only the .45 version was reliable.... On second thought, it's probably best that it isn't, as I might have bought another gun I can't afford.

I guess maybe I just lucked out. Everyone always says the .45 is troublesome but I have one and haven't had any issues.

I'm kindof a nation-wide guy. For my eastern friends I support the fight against firearms bureaucracy, and to keep cred with the Vancouver Islanders, well... ;)

I have acquired a taste for it. I'm usually fond of any variety of Pilsener. Lucky is the only Lager I drink. I'd take it over Molson any day. I'm far too refined for Mountain Crest these days. That was the garage/wrenching swill of my younger (broker) days. :cool:
 
Just picked up a JR Carbine t add to the rifle collection. Got it from Wanstalls. I called as I was looking for a 9mm and the only one they had was green/black cammo. Thought that would be cool. Picked it up and at first glance I thought it was a strange cammo like someone had kinda flocked paint at it. Upon closer inspection I realized that it had biohazard symbols and zombies painted into it. Kinda cool really. Gonna be hard to mod it though without loosing the paint scheme. Oh well. Mod it I will though.

I really like the JR and want one... The problem is I am a lefty and the AR style safety cannot be switched to the other side. It is right in the way of my trigger finger and really not very comfortable (another lefty says it will leave your finger raw by the end of a day of plinking). Does anyone know of a mod or replacement other than nipping the entire nub of the safety off (someone suggested that and I cringed a bit). The Thureon has the same issues .. I want a big brother to go with my sub 2000.

Has anyone tried running some +P ammo through the JR Carbine? I've read that it's not a pretty sight when you do. Can anyone confirm this with first hand experience?
 
Just google gunblast.com's review of the jr. He shows a pic of the case when he tried it, looks pretty scary..
