JTF2 Uses Magpul

I also think part of this may have been to protect some of their TTP. Why inform anyone who has the potential of learning their TTP and how to counter them. The JTF has the ability to do fast roping, but why show the world the step by step process of their ship seizure capabilities. They way they did it showed the world they could do it, and repelling from a helicopter they way they did it is very hard. Like what one of the poster above said, if you have not done this before don't critique it.

You saw what JTF2 allowed you to see. They are internationally respected Tier 1 SOF; I have no doubt they are more than capable in all of their disciplines.

For those that would care to provide critique, pitch up to their training centre and give some pointers. Please bring a camera so we can see how it goes over. ;)

Oh I'm such a gun nut, looked at the video for a good few minutes and googled pictures of various HKs to try and figure out what that smg is. The handguard looks too stubby for a normal MP5, looks like an MP5k PDW to me, with a rail system and a UMP style stock. Around 1:03 into the video a guy on the left is pointing what looks like the same gun at the head of the guy on the ground. You can clearly see a traditional MP5k PDW stock on it, as well as some sort of flashlight or something attached underneath, which is why the rail system makes sense (plus in the view at about 0:30 the handguard doesn't look right for an MP5). I thought It was a UMP at first too (at 0:30 it almost looks like it has a ventilated handguard that the UMP has, and the stock is right) but the front sight is too vertical for a UMP, the back of the front sight on a UMP has a bit of a slope to it. You can also get a quick look at the one with the traditional stock at 0:23ish, hanging near the dude to the right's leg. I always thought the MP5k PDW was more of a movie/video game gun than something you actually ever saw in service, didn't think they made very many of them, someone else know more about em?

You guys catch the CTR and AFG at 1:30? :)
