I'm kind of surprised it let you get so close the only grizzly that get close to me are usually moving out so fast you have too speed up to get a better look.
Mind you I usually fire a shot next to them too scare them off if they are any closer than that to me and being in the bush prospecting all of the time I have to shoot a fair amount.
It's a mother grizzly with cubs that worries me most when after I've shot she keeps coming...
At least this spring having a grizzly draw/tag makes it so I don't have to be so cautious but then again I have never mistaken a grizzly for a black at least not that I know of...
