fort st John 3 gun
The North Peace Rod and Gun club is hosting our second 3 gun of the season on Jul 19,2014. Any partisipants interested in shooting will need to pre register. You can pm me if you are planning on shooting or email me us at pepsicola@telus.net. A black badge is not required for this shoot.
Match will start at 10am sharp. Shooters must be at the range and sign registration form by 9am with safety meeting to follow. (Fort St John is 1 hr ahead of Alberta time).
There will be limited camping available at the range.
We are planning on 5 cof with a speed steel match to follow if time permits.
Shooters will require ear and eye protection, a centerfire rifle of .223 or larger, a shotgun of 20ga. or larger and a centerfire pistol with a holster that covers the trigger and will provide retention. Pistol caliber carbines are not permitted. You will also need to be able to carry extra mags/shells for each stage. Slings will not be required or permitted. Inside the waist band holsters and crossdraw holsters are also not permitted.
The round count should not exceed 100 pistol/100 rifle and 75 shotshells (bird shot) Max. distances will be 150 yrds(rifle), pistol will be 50 yrd max. We will be running divisions which you will recieve a layout of when you register.
Match fee will be $40 per person and include a bbq lunch. We will have two firearms that will be random draw prizes, as well as a draw for a Keltec su-16 $20 per ticket available only to shooters of the day. This match will go rain or shine so be prepared. If anyone from outside of Bc. requires a match invite to get a short term att. you can let me know with your pm for registration and i will forward you one.
