So I'll start this month too.
Was not looking for her, she found me... Unscrubbed King Carol II crest Romanian Contract VZ24. Made during Nazi occupation. Mismatched stock, German made bolt matching to itself. Really hard to find where she had been to and how she ended up here. But looks like lady came here straight from the dark times, bypassing sweet refurbishing experience.

Does she have Cyrillic "ПАМ 13" on the right side of the stock? Can't find anything about this marking.

Not that I can make out anyways, but the stock is hardly pristine.

Purchased at the weekend, full matching numbers & in very good condition.

This is the first time i have ever noticed N^Z stamped on a forend, i have a few NZ marked SMLEs so now i have to go though them all & have another look.

I've been looking for all matching non-refurbed Czech VZ24 and someone pointed me to the pictures of this one, just a random luck I guess.

Nothing special or particularly collectible. Russian Capture 98k.

Factory 147, 1940 Manufacture, typical Russian Refurb mixmaster parts.

Wanted an RC for a while, but not for $650-$700. Got this one shipped, with a sight hood, hard case, cleaning pull chain, cleaning rod, trigger lock, ammo pouches, oiler bottle, and 3 boxes of S&B ammo for $500 all in. I can live with it at that price.

Good, strong rifling, good bones all around. Should make a good shooter.

Technically bought this back in May. Just got it from the gunsmith the other day after being rebarrelled to restricted. All matching minus the barrel obviously. Shes a byf 42 Mauser manufacture pistol. Came with one period mag and one post war mag. Also included was a nice 1936 made holster that is in fantastic condition.

BDX ammo is good and all but Lugers are uber finicky with ammo. Mine HATES BDX loads.

This seems to work well with 2 of my mags but the third just seems to hate it, I haven't yet had a chance to test different brands in it. What works best for you?
