What is a decent price for the #5 Mark 1 Jungle Carbine these days?

I saw two for $300 each yesterday.

There was third a guy was selling with a scope mounted on it too.

$300 is pretty decent for a matching No.5 that isn't too beat up.
You usually see them listen for 400-500 on the EE (not that that is necessarily proper market value).

I saw one in a Edmonton gun shop last week for 800$ Rifle was VG++ with all matching s/n on the wood, bayonet and bolt.

This is waaaay overpriced. Even allowing $200 for a No.5 bayonet ($100 if Indian made). Lots of decent ones around for $300 range, just have to wait for the right deal. Trust me they are fairly common at gunshows and here (CGN).
