Hey folks ,
I am going to be selling off some of my closet items as i dig them out...
but i have no idea as to the value on alot of this stuff . So i am hoping i get get a few opinions as to values .
1) Today i dug out a Jungle Carbine looks like all matching #'S the only thing is someone cut of the end off the flashhider. The bore looks excellent. Any ideas???$$$
2) Next i found a barrel for a Jungle carbine it looks like an excellent barrel and is complete with flash hider .??$$$
3) I also have a bunch of sights ,screws, bolts , ect ect for lee enfields and i best of just to list them as a "lot" or try to sell individual parts ?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance Gary

The Jungle Carbine is probably worth $450 with the flash hider on.

With the flash hider cut off...it's maybe only worth $250-300. Tough call.
As for the barrel, that's maybe worth $65.

If you want more accurate estimates, we need pictures as well as MUCH better descriptions.

Indeed, pics would help. :)

Potato's estimates sound good, with limited info from the descriptions;

As for the parts, you'd spend weeks doing the individual sale. A lot sells well (I know I'd think about getting it depending on... what's in there?)

Carbine all matching and in completet condition is worth $450.00. As soon as something is bubba'd.....whether a reblue or a stock refinish or a hacked off flash hider the price goes to 1/2 of that or $225.00 at best! It will never be "original" again and smart shoppers will want original. Dave

A good smith can remove the flash hider from one and put it on the other for a reasonable price and it won`t show and will substantially raise the value of your rifle. $450 is top price and that`s out west where they`re is a big market for them. Here in Qc. they go for $150 to $250 tops.

Price...

Paid $200.00 for an all-matching one with a stock that resembles walnut, only with a more open grain. Teck?
Had to replace the rear sight, though, because its elevation screw was frozen tight. Found an original one for a song, thanks to a very sympathetic CGN member.:D

removing and replacing the flash hider in not a big deal, you don't need a gunsmith IF you know what your doing.

if your in Edmonton send me a PM
