Hold this, hold that, no, not there ...

To my mind, the best way to pump a multipump pistol of the forearm pump family is to hold the forearm still and pump from the hand grip. you get more leverage and an easier (oh so easy!) go of it.

I'm working on a clamp down vise that the forestock can slide into to provide a solid platform for pumping/loading. I may even get it to work!

You can order a fatter forearm for the 13xx pistols that makes it much easier on the hands when pumping. They were originally made for the Backpacker version that came with the butt stock. Actually, i find I much prefer mine set up as a small carbine. These and the 2240 are like the Ruger 10/22. You can get pretty carried away with them. I know I did.
