Well i went to CTM this afternoon and rented the USP in .40 . Nice pistol! I checked out the Steyr A1 and didnt like the feel of the grip in my palm. It has a sort of bulge and it's uncomfortable. I also checked out the Glock. Fit was crap, the darn slide wasn't even paralel to the frame. Plus the finger grooves didnt match with my fingers, so it was uncomfortable as well.

The USP fit in my hand perfectly. The fit was nice, contrary to the Glock, and the sights werent funky like the Steyr. I bought two boxes of winchester white box and went plinking. I had a FTF on the second mag. I dunno if it was mag related or ammo related or my fault for not loading the mag correctly. It seems a round jammed in the mag, and the follower couldnt push it up, so it failed to feed after the 5th round. The rest of the cession went smoothly. The gun shoots much more precisely than i do. I think i did not bad, but i wasnt there to shoot small groups, i was there to plink and have fun.And i forgot my camera like a dumbass:redface:

All in all, i had loads of fun, Frank and his staff were real nice and so was the place.

Canuck,

I also rent that USP 40 from CTM. No FTF that time.

The gun was so accurate I had tears in my eyes. It was a perfect fit for me.

Now I want a USP ...

What other guns did they have? Was it $25 (+ammo) per gun?

I have to say for me it's the other way around; I bought a Steyr because it fit my hand like a glove. USP on the other hand is the must uncomfortable gun I've ever held (not exaggerating). The thin and long grip just doesn't fit my hand whatsoever. And I don't have small hand either my 92FS fits me great...

That gap you're reffering too is perfectly normal on a Glock...
So it's normal that the gap isnt straight ans unparallel? Me thinks not. Maybe they are all like that, but it's not normal.
