I will hopefully be picking it up on Sunday. Any recommendations on factory ammo that shoots well through this gun?? For now I will just be punching paper for fun but I eventually want to try it out in IPSC or IDPA. Can't wait. I have been without a semi-auto pistol for about 5 years and the rehab just didn't work!!!:HFU:

I shot everything through my m&p 40 from hydra-shocks to PDX to winchester white-box to tula and wolf steel-case to small-town shooting range reloads that come in a ziplock bag. I had zero malfunctions. Granted, the accuracy probably varied to some extent but I never really took much notice.

Pretty sure this was with the white-box (not exactly the best ammo, haha):

Bought one too from Flahertys in Toronto. Will pick it up in a day or two after the CFO grants me leave to take it home. And this was before I fixed my extraction probs on my CZ75 in 40. Let's see which I like better.

Up yours Vaughan!

The only problems I've had with M&P's have been with bad reloads, high primers or over used 9mm brass which didn't have enough rim left for the extractor to grip. My bad, but 5 out of close to 25,000 isn't bad.

Congrats! I just picked mine up on Friday and shot it for the second time tonight! You're gonna love it, damn thing is smooth as silk. I bought the cheapest factory reloads I could and they work beautifully! Over all I'm 11/10. :D
