Just an update to this thread.
I have been using remington 50gr Vmax ammo. Seems to like it.
Now that its winter or getting there I am kinda worried that it cooling so much faster will be bad for the barrel.
And jsut how hot is too hot? its got a heavy barrel, but it seems I cant even get 10 shots without it be HOT. But I dont know how hot it too hot.
PS shooting snowmen is not nearly as fun as I expected, it jsut makes a hole.
And the single set trigger... I sure hope my next rifle has this too, because its just too damn perfect.

If you leave your finger prints on the barrel when you touch it, it is too hot
TR shooters fire about 1 shot every 2 minutes except in an ISSF match where you would fire 20 shot in 30 minutes or less. BR shooters usually wait for a condition and fire 10 rounds as fast as they can load.
I wouldn't shoot it until the barrel was too hot to touch.
