Just Bought A Savage 10 PC... What Base & Where?

Just looking for some advice on a decent one piece base without breaking the bank.

Prolly going with Leupold rings for a Bushnell Elite Tac 5-15x40mm.

I bought mine for my savage 10 directly from evolution gun works online awesome quality. They ship from the states no problems

I picked up a one piece Ken Farrel base from Mystic Precision. I couldn't be happier with it. If you do go with one, just note that it sits quite high. I have a 50mm objective scope with low rings and there is still a little space between objective and barrel.

I picked up my Warne Tactical 20 MOA base from John Grech at Grech Outdoor Mount Forest. Also Allen Gun Works makes a base for Savage I believe, or he distributes EGW.

You specified not too much money. I have one of the 20 MOA weaver bases and it seems good for less than $40. The others mentioned are awesome top quality products, but will set back over $100 easily.

Oh yeah, I got mine at SFRC near Kingston.

I too have a Ken Farrell base, works great.
