SXS in 20 ga.. A friend of mine picked it for me up at Epps..

Anyone know much about these gun? Supposedly a working man's gun.. basic and light.. should get the job done on those grouse..
 
Was actually someone on doublegun forum last week asking if anyone knew of anybody that owned a 612 because they wanted to know what they are like. Most weren't aware that there is a Stevens 612 SxS.

Cool. I knew they made them but didnot think they were still available in canada. They also make a 28ga so time to check into that puppy. Congrats on the new gun

thanks.. not exactly new.. bought it in August 2011! It was "used" but looked new when I got it at Elwood Epps...

Nice working man's gun... nothing fancy

Totally missed the 2011 date in your 1st post but that is nothing new for my old brain. LOL Funny we have not seen or heard any more about them since then. Just checked the savage site and no sign of them at all..
Hope they didnot get pulled or put on hold like the 28ga weatherby. take care
