I got some good news today and decided to celebrate by picking up a Rem 870 Express 12ga this afternoon. I would have preferred a synthetic stock, but they only had them with wood stocks and foregrips. I'm cool with that for now, but I'd like to replace them eventually with either a full stock with pistol grip or a top folding stock at some point. I hear decent things about ATI's products, but anyone have any advice as to what are the best options out there? I'm a big guy with long arms so something with a long or adjustable length of pull would be optimal

I just got a 6 positon ati stock for my 870 I love it . Fits me 6 foot and my wife 5'5 looks and feels great too. Ordered mine from ammo source good price cheap shipping

I had a Butler Creek folder on mine for a while, but switched back to the factory furniture. I found the ergonomics better. I've also tried the semi-pistol grip on their turkey gun and didn't find it an improvement. IMHO Remington's factory furniture is actually a pretty darn good design.

I'd recommend keeping with the wood stocks and just shoot with them until you're familiar with the weapon. Then you'll know what stock upgrades if any you need.
