I'd not open that box of blanks. It likely has collector value that will plummet if opened.

The black powder rounds haven't been made for an L-E for many years, this is quite likely to have collector value. The box is in excellent condition (from your pic) and unopened. That adds to its value to a collector.

Seriously though, swapping the bolt head and seeing if you could fire 22lr, is a bad idea.

Well, I did further searches on this and found that the aim would be off. As well, I would need a Barrel insert? I just happened to come across this late in the evening, so I didn't get a chance to look into it further. I just thought it was a little different.
