CFC for approval eh.... hope you like to wait! What a racket those guys are running!!
I started a transfer on a used run of the mill Remington 1100 back in August... i'm still waiting!
I called everyday for like three weeks, until they finally basiclly told me to stop calling as it was going to take a few months due to the backlog. What sucks even more was that I had it sold and paid for to a fellow CGNer. What a bunch of overpaid pricks. Sorry about the rant, but it just burns me that I am being treated like a criminal and screwed arond with for a simple non-restricted when it used to be so easy.
Anyways, rant off, and congrats on your new gun. It's going to be a blast... literally. There have been a few threads in sights, reloading, and other cool stuff here on CGN during the past few months. I set mine up with the XS Ghost ring sights and am VERY happy. Also ordered the XS scope mount at the same time, though I still have t get a scout scope to try it out. If you do decide to go the XS route, Willwagspal has the best prices and service for them this side of the US border. Make up some stout handloads and get out there!
