I just bought my first 1911, a kimber custom II on the EE, but I don't like the grips it comes with. Could anyone share a site that ships to Toronto that has a good selection of grips to check out? Even better would be a brick and mortar store in the GTA that has a good selection but I am guessing that would be askng too much!

These guys ship to Canada and have some very nice wood grips. Got a set for my P1 from them that I'm very pleased with.

Grips on a 1911 are a highly personal item.

Hope you are able to find something that suits you.

Nice pistol by the way...

NAA - the perfect advise. Very personal choice. In my case, I do like the Hogue fingergrips which most of my pistols have (except for the 92 SBC). Then again other guys in my group just can't stand them. First tried these grips handling an LEO's P226 carry piece a decade ago. Haven't looked back since.
I do fire all my pistols and in transfering from one to another, initial contact is not unduly upset. Having the same type of grip provides hand feel continuity. BTW, very nice pistol (biased statement!!!lol) - congrats and as you contemplate the grip choice - Happy shooting/shopping!:D
