Just bought my first one

I went with T/C for a few reasons most of which I have been told by others that they are a good quality gun. The second resaon is I like the looks.

I picked up a 50 cal.

My son has a Italian gun not sure of the make and his is 54 cal

Nessy357 and mooncoon helped us both understand things much better.

I bought the same in the early 90s..no regrets.T/C were great as they replaced my stock. The original stock had split (due to my stupidity of getting the ramrod stuck while cleaning)...I ended up knocking/smacking the butt against the cement flood and crack it went!! As I had purchased this gun as a kit, the guarantee did not apply, but i called and explained my situation, I was ready to order a new stock but they told me to send back the whole kit to them and they fitted a new factory finished stock!!!they even covered the shipping!
I since repay T/C by telling the story and my satisfaction with their fine product!

Enjoy...but watch for that stuck ramrod
