I just today got my .338 win mag Tikka T3 lite stainless. The deal brought me reloading dies, a cleaning kit, recoil pad, Burris 3-9x40 ballistic plex scope, rings, bases, 108 x once fired brass, 20 x twice fired brass, 50 x 225gr TSX bullets, 100 x Hornady 225gr interlock bullets, 50 x 250gr sierra gameking bullets, 50 x 180 grain Accubond bullets, and 10 x 200 gr accubonds.
Out of those bullets, which ones should I try first?? I am pretty new to reloading and have only reloaded my .300 win mag so far.
The powders I have to use are Reloader 19 and Reloader 22.
This will be for Black Bear and Moose.

Reloader 22 is to slow.

Reloader 19 is also on the slow side but more than acceptable and very consistant with magnum primers.

The 225 grain Interlock is a fine bullet. I've only been able to recover one from an animal. A moose taken with a quartering shot just behind the ribs, angling forward through the lungs and comeing to rest in the hide on the chest. The animal walked about 10 feet and went down.

The rest, includeing moose, elk, bears and deer all passed right through. Perfect wound channels that you can eat right to the edge as there is little if any bloodshot meat.

Of the bullets listed, the only ones I'd really concentrate on are the TSX's. However, in MY 338, I normally load 250 grain Partitions as I feel the TSX is really more suited to smaller bores and higher speeds (I also have a couple boxes of 225 Interbonds that I never got around to trying, too)
