That's really cool. But it really needs some scale. What is the dark blob to the right? Can you use it to give any idea of scale?

How deep was the snow there? Any pics of deer from the same camera in the same location? Definitely looks feline but as Ruffed Grouse said, you need some scale. Hard to tell if it's a tabby or cougar.

Well that makes it look like one big feline. And as sheep hunter said, tracks would be cool too, if the pic isn't form too long ago. That's fantastic.

By the way I just bought my first trailcam today, so perhaps it'll be a good luck day! I think I'll go check it soon.

Great picture.

I never thought to look for prints.....S load of deer tracks around it, that's all I cared about. :)

Heres a couple of three year old twin does at the same pile.....

So the cat seems deer size. I don't think anybody will take it as conclusive. But it seems like pretty strong photographic evidence.

Definitely a cat of some sort, you can tell by the stance, the tail, and the shape of head. Hard to tell what size it might be though. Bobcat, Lynx or Cougar. No lions and tigers round' here :runaway:. If you still have your camera in the same postion, take a pic of yourself at the pile for comparison. Try and get pic of track.

The tail kind of eliminates bobcat or lynx!

Great pics Wrong Way. I am not far from you. One of the guys I hunt with missed a big doe on Wed. afternoon. He fired a bit too early! He has hunted with us for many years, but this is his first year with a bow. I guess he was thinking he had a gun in his hands! LOL! Keep us posted on those deer. Cheers!
