We were not aware of that ability. Thanks for the update. We had believed that only the Moderators could lock out threads. Now that we know that, perhaps we can maintain a little bit of control when some threads go to radical extremes.
 
How about your original thread sucks. The title sounds like it is going to be a super negative OP denoted by the all capped "RANT" in the title. Then, there is a post that is about an unresolved issue that was in the process of being dealt with. The thread degrades into a discussion of CGN policy and a two way discussion between yourself and EPPs that probably could have been done in private if you had given it some time.

It is almost like you posted about it because you felt insecure about how the deal was going to go down. Like maybe if you posted a thread in EPP's section, your grievance would be given special attention. Psychological insurance policy, perhaps?

And now, for whatever reason, you have drudged it up again, still unresolved as far as anyone knows, and it wasn't even a topic that is EPPs problem this time. You want to know how threads get deleted which is info that can be found in many ways that don't include making another thread about a thread that was locked in the same place that first thread was locked (hope you took a big breath before reading that). Seems pointless if you ask me.

Oh and that Shadow I ordered from EPPs? Came today, 7 days after ordering, and it is perfect.

There should be a contest between the admin, mod and Epps on who can lock this down. GIYF.
 
This is how I view this forum or any other forum (cars, home diy, hockey etc). Its free to us and its not our birth right to be on here. It belongs to a group or an individual and if they dont like you they can kick you off or close the conversation or hide shady dealings as they seem fit.

Anyway you cut it we are in someone elses house they can do whatever they want...dont like it gtfo and stay out. CGN is not garunteed under our charter of rights if you know what I am saying lol...if you have a moral dilemma just dont log on again.
 
Well, I think I would like to respond to some of the things that have been said, if I may. I am away on holidays at the moment and typing on my iPhone is a bit of a pain in the bum, so I will ask you forbearance in leaving this open a bit longer. Thank you.

You did get the last word in on that locked thread (and no I did not lock it) the CGN policy is that rants about locked threads lead to locked threads of their own. I see no reason to change that.
