Just curious, who bought a T97?

Hey CanadaAmmo,

I'm starting to lose hope.... Can you give us an update or something?
Even a post just to say that there is still no news. At least let us know you guys are still on top of the situation and trying.

What kind of business are you guys running?

Sorry, but I'm getting a bit frustrated.

As stated above we are not posting details here. We are working on this everyday.

Again, as stated above, if you want to discuss, please give me a call.

Believe me, for what CanAm (and the rest of us Canadian Firearms owners) have to loose, he is on top of it. I wish people would stop complaining and do something about it, stop leaving the lions share of the work to other people, that's what got us into the situation we are all in, in regards to all this firearms non sense going on.

Most of the members on this forum are "Canadian Firearms owners" ... No??.... So what do you suggest we do? How do we get out of this situation regarding firearms?

We all just want our T-97's and we're starting to get a bit frustrated. Personally I've been waiting since Dec 2008. Do the math.... It's a pretty long time to wait for a rifle.

This is my first time dealing with CanadaAmmo it so far I'm not impressed. The only thing keeping me from asking for a refund is that CanadaAmmo seems to have a pretty good reputation on this forum with exception to the T97's.

Bottom line, I just want the rifle, and I'm getting tired of waiting. I'm not blaming anyone, but if there is anything that we can do to help, please enlighten us.

R1Rich, I think Prestwich might just be referring to writing letters to your MP about the issue or even meeting with your MP to discuss it. If you read through the threads on this subject (and there is this one and one in the Red Rifles section) you will see this discussion.

If you don't read the threads completely you just won't be on the same page as everyone else, and you may well be treated with short shrift by those who have participated more fully.

I don't know why people are getting mad at CanAm, it's the RCMP that have stopped the from entering the country not CanAm.

Are you kidding?

People are getting mad because CanAm is saying there's nothing we (CanAm) can do and that's the way it is - this is as per posts and phone calls. Well if that is the case, why are so many guys encouraging us to write letters and talk to MPs? Why is it up to us to try to get the guns released, but it is ok for CanAm to do nothing? Tell us you have engaged a lawyer, tell us you are calling weekly to demand resolution, tell us you are doing anything other than nothing.

Let's face it - they have done nothing to expedite the release of the T97s and are leaving our money swinging in the wind.

I have never said there is nothing we can do. We are doing many things.

We have said, if you would like to assist, contact your MP, and contact Van Loans office.

Things are being done, although it does sound as if you aren't part of it.

It is more important to take effective action than to rant away on CGN, I believe.

YMMV.

Nothing Personal Canada Ammo,

But I'm done.... Please expedite my refund.
I'll call tomorrow to finalize the details.

I myself opted to further support Canam by requesting a in house credit instead of refund!!! Which Mark & the boys were happy help, Thanks Canam!!!

What a load of BS. I have emailed and spoken to CanAm on the phone and they have never provided any details as to what they are doing despite being pressed for them. Every time I have been told there is nothing we can do and just wait.

Oh yeah, they're doing lots

Yup blame the dealer for the antics of the RCMP. I remember asking you a while back what you're doing to fight for our guns rights.

Basically, my whole life is dedicated to this project. Obviously we cannot discuss various details with the general public.
If you have some problem with me, fine, but do not accuse me of doing nothing. Why would we do nothing? we have far, far, far more invested in this that any single person here. Also, this must be handled very carefully as this situation could be applied to ANY future semi auto gun.
