Had a ball, going to first match this weekend. Many thanks to Dave Huta and Len Walker for making it happen!

Bought a cz tac sport to celebrate lol.

What are peoples thoughts on a division to start in? Not sure how serious I will get but thought I'd try standard first. Does it make more sense to start in any one division if you are just starting out and not too serious yet? Money is not a concern if that would influence the choice. I'd been eyeing up the tanfoglio stock lll extreme as well as some of the cz offerings for a production pistol but decided to buy cz tac sport for standard. Might still buy the tanfoglio or another da/sa cz. Kind of find the cz models confusing...seems to be overlap between many.

Anyany...sure this has been discussed before but thanks in advance for any advice!!

Good job!

Production seems to have the most shooters in Alberta. I just shot my first match this previous weekend. Great time!

Next purchase though. Is an open gun..... Going to the dark side.

Money's a issue for me. So I better start saving my pennies

All the more reason to shoot standard. It's no fun when there's nobody to compete against. Having said that, I still shoot Open, even if I'm the only person there.
