Stork has the paperwork, so time to think.......hm hmm hm hmm hmmmmmmmm ..........

I don't know much about these short shooters, but I do know I think I'd like to own a single action
revolver ...........for now.

I do own a 92 in 44-40 and have ammo, dies, brass and bullets for such.
Seems almost logical to own a revolver in this as well.

What is available, reliable, reasonable ($$) for these units?

If this doesn't pan out, maybe a .357mag and follow it up with a lever later on.

Interested to read what the CGN'rs have to type............

I did my our-pal a long time ago, it got that name because everything I owned became ours when she decided she liked to shoot as much as me........

now she has her-pal with restricted, and thinks I was going to transfer some of my fun over to her name.............

small word problems huh loooky..........

look for a ruger........they have what you want.............go stainless so that you can clean them in the dishwasher, you'll be doing the dishes for a long long time once the missus finds out where more of your money is going............

My favourite right now is a '58 Remington conversion in 44-40. It's deadly accurate.

Heavy bugger, though. Peacemakers are lighter.

Look through the Taylors and Cimarron sites. If you find something you like, Wolverine can bring it in. Grumpy is a big fan of the Kaboy guns.

Congrats bud. Didn't have much interest when I first got my pal three years ago but saw too many cool toys around not to jump on the bandwagon. Started with economy guns but now think it's time to hold out for the hand cannon of my dreams, Ruger Redhawk in 45Colt. Actually may have to go with the Norc np30 first since I'm in need of a new ATC gun which was gonna be the Ruger but now after seeing the recent threads on 45-08,45super and Rowland I'm thinking the highcap 1911 would serve me better. Good luck looky finding your first restricted.
