Received my T/C Contender yesterday and it looked great. Sent great feedback. On examination today I realized that neither firing pin would engage. Took the barrel off and shone a light into the receiver to see an obviously broken part sitting halfway around a screw. Just contacted the vendor. Absolutely fuming!!! Will upload a pic to get some advice.

I would advise;

That you make certain you are happy with your purchase before giving feedback
(cause its hard to change that after the fact)

Also a wise idea to contact the seller before #####ing on the forum.....

I would see if he would take the gun back and refund your money. FB Rating is easy to change. Find the FB you gave him, click on the pin icon (center one) and you can change your FB Rating.

"just contacted the vendor" implies, before #####ing.

Op, it sucks, but...
If the rifle was new and in the box, I can forgive the vendor for missing it. If it was as obvious as you claim, they'd have seen it.
You're forgetting, you missed it too.

All good. Took the sucker apart and found the part wasn't broken. The retaining screw had worked loose and and jammed the part into a position that wouldn't allow the firing pin to engage! As much as it would be great to function test evrything before selling I know we can't all do that. At least this was an easy no new parts fix! Call off the dogs!!

Hey, at least your man enough to come back and say that it wasn't that big of a deal. There are many that would stomp their feet to the end.
