Hello there,
I just got a 30-338 win mag. New to all of this reloading stuff. I have have the reloading dies and 100 brass. I have a friend to help me reload. I want a good hunting round for elk and bigger game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, how do I make new brass for this round?

Thanks.

You can go to any loading manual and work with 308 Norma Magnum load data, that's all a 30-338 is for all intents and purposes............Brass is made by simply running 338 WM brass through your full length sizing die, prime, load and shoot..........nothing to it.

+1!! As Douglas says, this round is a ringer for the 308 Norma. I had a 30-338 myself for about 5 years.....excellent round for your stated purposes.

If you are having any problems finding 338 brass, 7mm Rem Mag brass works as well. My pet loads were with the 180 partition and Norma MRP or H4831sc.
Regards, Dave.

Simply running 338 WM brass through your full length .30-338 sizing die. Pretty decent blurb about it and data on Reloader's Nest. Just a necked down .338 Win Mag.
