HEllo,

those MAGS ARENT PINED BOY!!! ( in a cowbow sheriff kinda voice)

you in the army?

not banned yet? Look alittle closer at the mags..they are quite clearly pinned or only loaded to 5, why do you care anyways..

^what this board really needs right now is a pic of a large ammo dump..hundreds of real mags..beta mags..thousands of rounds of ammo..all sitting there ready for use..

not some Lib informant whiner...

you will not see any rivets in my mags....yet they only hold 5.4 rounds...its called a shaft on the follower....works great!!

The mags are legal and yes.

...and mags couldn't POSSIBLY be pinned internally, could they? Get bent.

Agreed

Were did you get the Badger Speed block and how easy was it to re&re the stock RRA gas block with the Badger?

The RRA gas block is just a clamp on style. Simply loosen the screws.
The Badger Ordnance Speed Block was had through Wolverine. It was a little tricky to install. It requires you to drill a blind hole in the bottom of the barrel 180 degrees from the gas port hole. If you eyeball it the likley hood of screwing up is high. The block is held in place by one set screw that sinks into the hole you've drilled. 262 (red loctite) is recomended.

congrats on the build, really... really nice. where did you get the CTR?

Dave's when they could still get them.

Hey, if the mags were for the LAR-15 pistol, wouldn't they be pinned for 10 rounds then?

I notice all your stripper clips have 10 rounds as well.

Not to mention you can clearly see through the mag catch hole that the rounds aren't there.

Seriosuly, this guy's shovel is way big. His hole just keeps getting deeper.

There could be a hundred reasons why those mags might not look legal but still could be. Most likely they did what I do for pics and put everything I can find that matches the theme. Maybe I take a pic of all my Busse knives and toss one in that belongs to a friend. Maybe he took the pic at a gunsmith in the US's shop. I am sure glad it isn't my job to decide someones picture on the internet might not be legal.

That is an awesome project. It has great proportion visually. The whole photo looks great visually with the plate with the warning and the helmet. All the cartridges and mags looks perfect regardless of their legal status.

^c'mon tell us how you really feel... you didnt sleep well last night after you saw those pics right?

You guys crack me up:D UPDATE: I have swapped out the "Keyhole" upper for a Diemaco. Now it is "T" marked and has M4 feed ramps not to mention the little "D" on the side. It also has a green MIAD and rail XT covers. Just waiting on the OD CTR.

I'm assuming your barrel has M4 ramps
