My bolt handle was done by seller max_shepherd of gunbroker. I had the option of sending my handle but I opted for a whole new one.

The steel on the Polish M-44's is as hard as it comes.

Who ever altered the bolt handle did a tidy job, I have seen some dog rough ones but yours is nice and neat.

P.S. how did you get that colour of red stain on the SVT 40?

I have seen it on a lot of SKS's and I really like it.
