I just finished my Restricted Course and Test this weekend at the RA Center in Ottawa :dancingbanana:. It was really informative, and the people at the RA Club were great. can't wait for my paperwork to go through and receive my licence.

Is approx. 6 weeks to receive the test results back a standard proceedure? Just checking, I know there is a waiting period once you send in your forms and copies of your test results to Mirimichi. However, when I finished my tests, I was told my scores, and then I was also told that they aren't official until they are mailed back to me and that it may take 6 weeks.

Patience is a virtue I suppose. Probably a virtue that will help me to refrain from being trigger happy on my first hunt too!

On tests in Ontario
The Instructor sends the tests to Ont CFO's Office they review and send you back ( the reason you address a envelope to Yourself) to you a stamped approved copy to include with your application.( My advice photocpy it and keep one or more for your records and always send application if mailed by registered mail) The last 2 challenge tests I ran took about 1 month for students to begin reciving their copies back. Your marks are on the copy you recieve back!!! I can't speak for all testers or instructors but if you fail a component with me I will tell you upfront.

I got my ontario RPAL in 28 days exactly. But I got it after having a PAL for a year or two.

The tester showed everyone their marks in both the written and the practical.

Small town I guess.
