You can take those same mags and use them in the 1919 and have a 10 shot semi. Those mags fit in the 1919. Remember it is the mag not the gun it is used in

5 round max in a semi is law in Canada. Using 10 rounds mags in this shot gun is porhib. No limit on pump action. I understand the laws of the magazine is the limitation not the firearm. But they are not stamped "pistol mag". They are not stamped pump action only. On the web site it says these magazines are not authorized to be used in any other shotgun. Take you chances but I'm sure a cop or worse fish cop will charge you with a prohib device unless there is some kind of markings on the mag.

The rules are written pretty clearly on this matter. Your interpretation doesn't change them.
But you are correct. .. chances of getting charged by a leo who doesn't know or belive you is there.

Fenix PD35 in a fenix mount. 960 Lumens. It's like a car headlight. The Fenix remote switch also works on the PD35 if you want to go that route.

Yep. I've got the PD35 with pressure switch on my Tavor and it is unbelievably bright!!

Ive owned both the Derya and the MKA 1919. My 1919 is the newer match version and i ordered it with the metal lower.

Sights are metal. Not sure how great the quality is, I took them off right away and used flip up sights off of a tavor. If your comparing this gun to the derya, keep in mind, the Derya sights ARE plastic and you can ONLY use the sights the gun comes with because the top rail on the hand guard is taller than the rail on the receiver. On the 1919 is one continuous rail like an AR.

The derya comes with an adjustable stock, but mine wasn't sized right for either commercial or mill spec. It was something else. The 1919 has a comm spec tube so any aftermarket stock will work. The aluminum lower version also accepts AR grips and, I've read, some trigger components.

Many parts on the derya are plastic. The lower may be aluminum, but the stock adapter, both the fixed and the folding versions, are plastic. That gave me very little confidence. The sights are plastic as mentioned as is the hand guard end cap.

Taking apart the gas systems on both is equally as simple. There are a few parts, but they only go back together one way. I liked the gas ring options that came with the 1919, but mine cycles everything with the heavy ring in... with NO break in at all. I didnt even clean it and it worked %100. My derya needed 100 rounds of heavier loads run before it would cycle light loads reliably. Once it was broken in, it also ran flawlessly.

Only downsides of the 1919 in my opinion are that its harder to separate the upper and lower receivers. You don't NEED to very often, so its not a huge issue. The derya comes completely apart with just a button. With that said, the take down button on my derya was wearing on the other half of the receiver where it locked together. It got a bit loose and started to worry me. The 1919 will never do that due to how its made.
And, its more expensive than the derya... but worth every penny more IMO.

My derya would NOT work with AS46 mags. Not even close. My 1919 does, though not perfectly. I need to open up the front of the mag well a little bit. Nothing major.

I have the MKA 1919 Match, metal lower from Tactical Imports.
Runs and feeds great.
The mags do loosen up a little after use and become easier to load (they are a bit tight when new).
Yup, the sight screw wiggles loose a bit, just keep an eye on it at the beginning and end of your shooting session/match.

It's a great shotgun and a lot of fun.
