foam tape the mags to stop the wiggle. Clean lots and have a blast! I love both my mossys. Had the carry handle and flat top.
I really hated the takedown. So much that I sold both for what I paid for them. Didn't have any fte, ftf on them.
Hope you have fun! And out shoot those 10/22s

I have the handle top. Clean it BEFORE you take it out for the first time. It IS a pain in the ass but theres full tear down vids on youtube. Its straight forward at least. I took my 25rd mags apart and smoothed out the plastic edges on the follower with a file and lubed it up. It helped with feeding issues.

I plan on taking her out a Virgin untouch rifle and shoot it Right out of the Box. I am writing a full report and then do a full tear down, re-lube, reassemble and re-shoot to do a Full Noob Experience :)

Any decent company should have a rifle ready to run ROB (right out a Box) :)

I shall pray to the .22LR rifle gods on this one :)

Mine was good right out of the box never cleaned it went through 500plus rounds first time no probs after 700 started gettin some cleaned it and did a bit of tinkering polishing and its been good since then mine enjoys cci and blazer...

The worst thing I found with mine was how cheap it felt with how loose the 25 shot mag fit. That was fixed easily with some electrical tape though. I'm out shooting the 10/22s with it all day, really fun. I have no feeding issues since I filed a bit off the loading ramp. Now it will shoot anything, doesn't matter what kind of shells you put through it. Mine really likes the federal american eagles

Stcky thin foam sheets from a craft store on top of plastic mag area made mine fit good and tight and cant even see it in between the recever and mag

I just bought one yesterday, cleaned it and fired about 300 rounds thro it. had several jams using federal. bought extra mags man they are stiff could only get 15 rounds or so in each. ive got 25 in each now and im letting them sit that way in hopes of breaking in the spring? Still such a fun and light 22 to shoot. my kids will enjoy the weight of it.

can you explain to a noob how this is done, or better yet any pics? I had several feeding issues and if it continues id like to try your fix.

Take mag apart sand any sharp edges that the folliwer runs on and lower edge of follower the red part lube alittle put back together double check wen u put it back together they seem to stick where the follower goes from metel mag to plastic u should see a big difference in loading aswell sa for the loading ramp use chop stick or somthing the same diamiter as the feed ramp i used 1000 just keep it flat on surface and on same angke dont need to take much off just smoothing it out really make sure bullets come out of the mag smoothly also just push them out with your finger somtimes it may have a burr on the mag lips u can tweek it with needle nose or sand alittle ..cheers

I picked up a 715T awhile ago. I don't really like the mag release and one mag fails to feed the last round. My wife and my niece sure enjoy it and it is getting hard to keep .22 in the house. I prefer my S&W MP15-22 for mimicking an AR platform, but when you consider the price of the 715T and the fact that it is NR you can't beat it.

Good luck ... mine was garbage, Luckily I bought it from Frontier and they refunded my money. When I decide to buy an SR22 ill be returning the favour and buying it from them.

Hated the piece of junk ... nightmare to clean

Cleaning is no DIFF from Anyone with a 10/22 with a say Achangel kit. Any Kitted .22 will have the same steps to break down. It only took me 5 minutes total, to take it all apart. Its not as Bad as people think. :)

Just went to the Range, and can say WOW!!! Great little plinker, dead accurate! matched my 10.22 Target anyday! and only 1,... One FTE on cheap 555 win from 10x 25 round clips. on the CCI Tactical AR22, i shot all 375 rounds, Not a single failure! I am really impressed, shot over 500 rounds, i was expecting after 200-300 to start failing, dirty but nope, shot like a champ.

I also let my mags rest and glued the lower spring to the red follower, works wonders!

Very impressed with Mossberg!
