Just got a new setup.

I just bought a Tikka T3 tactical in .300 win mag and a IOR 6-24x50 IR tactical scope hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will try and get a range report. Here are some pics.

I am very happy with it. It has Schott glass in it, some it has the same glass as the high-end Zeiss scopes and I do not know about Swasrovski optics I never had a chance to look through one.

I am sure that this will shoot very well. One thing to consider is having the action and first 1" of barrel bedded properly.

As good as they are, synthetic stocks have some slop. Accuracy and consistency will improve if the action is 'no stress' bedded.

Swarovski's make reality better. Seriously.

I was looking through one at BassPro. ($2859 OUCH!)
My vision is 20/15 and it just adds so much clarity and contrast.

I guess this one was rebarreled in .300WM, huh, as I thought the T3 Tactical was available only in .223Rem or .308Win. Looks good just the same.

I have a T3 Tac coming in .308Win, as well as a Rem 700P, also in .308Win. It should be interesting to see which performs better, but in any event I expect I'll end up keeping both of em.

Yeah, you're right. I was looking at the Beretta website and spec sheet, which doesn't list the .300WM.

Yes they do come in .300 win mag but you have to special order them.
