Just got a sonic cleaner...

put in a some liquid brass polish into the tumbler. I use a product called "FLITZ". a few drips in the tumbler before turning it on. The brass comes out shiny like new jewelry.
I find the tumbler gets them shiny, but the ultra sonic gets them clean.

See I told you I was new!!... didn't know that you could put anything ( but dry material) in my Hornady vibrating tumbler, so some liquid brass cleaner??
My days looking up already!!
Cheers
Brian

My process is..... (Very dirty) wash in sink with some dish soap, dry in over for three hours at 200F, tumble for 1 hr, resize, debur, clean primer pocket, sonic clean, leave over night in tumbler, use. THis is for the dirtiest of brass. Usually not needed to this extent. Works very well.

SO you can put your pistols in an ultra sonic cleaner KEWL, do you have to break anything down or just open the action and drop em in ... works good for chrome revolvers and double stacks as well?

if possible, a complete take down would be the best. each part will get cleaned much better. If there is metal touching metal... its harder to clean between. and you would want the parts to completely dry as to prevent rust etc on internal parts

quinnbrian...this bottle I just got will likely last me a couple years lol. a little bit goes a long way.
