Just Got Me A Lee Enfield

very nice rifle, and "as a bonus", it seems to be accurate as well.

Now, you'll need a nice Longbranch to keep it company. :)

What range were you at ?

Haven't been to the island for awhile. I grew up in Victoria but wasn't collecting back then. Would like to learn about some places to shoot for when I head back over to visit family.

Sweet No.1 !

Pacific Rim Fish & Game Club Range. Its inbetween the two villages of Ucluelet and Tofino. Need a membership to get inside. Not open to one day users. However, a club membership is $50 + a key and you can get your membership and key on the day you want to go shoot. Most ranges that do one day visits are $20 a day. The range is nice since most of the time you're the only one there so you can walts on out anytime you want to go change targets or look at groupings. However, even though the range isn't open to people without a membership, people park there cars at the gate then walk in. Idiots who aren't members often use are range and shoot are range equipment such as barrel rests, range rules signs that they've removed from the wall, the shooting benches, or garbage bins for targets. Some idiots bring glass to shoot and if you have dogs that you like to bring to the range to let them run around well your changing targets, this is a big problem. I've found TV sets, computers, action figures, and other garbage people bring to the range and don't clean up after themselves. We have steel targets that are rated for rim fire only and range members won't shoot it with a centerfire but the idiots that come in will. They're nice advantages to an unsupervised range but then the problems that go with it.

If you have any leads on a similar Enfield to the one you were lucky enough to track down would you mind throwing it out there. Certainly appreciate it.

I just posted a "looking for" add on Vancouver Island Buy, Sell, & Trade and the guy I got it from e-mailed me. Took almost 2 months to find it though.

The distances of the first two targets is 50 meters. Left target is the Lee Enfields. Right target is the Mosins. The second target is the best target I got at 100 meters. The 3rd target is the worst group I got at 100 meters. The last picture is from 75 meters way from the standing position simulating a hunting scenario. I even forgot to put hearing protection on with that shot. Easily 2moa rifle and will be great for taking down a moose or elk.

Yes, I really do need to find a Long Branch No 4. That's what I was originally looking for but only found sporters. When that No 1 popped up, I picked it up and ran like hell.
