Just got my 3 mosin nagants

Took mine out today and shot 250 yards with it! I hit the target several times and was really impressed with it! I think i need another one!

Knew i recognized that place, MVRRC, im going out there this weekend with some friends for a few rounds, got some surplus 7.62 x 54R from the Army Navy store and wanna try it out.

I picked mine up from the army navy store too... bit pricey but I can't justify dropping all that cash on a crate from somewhere out west and get raped on shipping.

How did they shoot Shep, im thinking of going out on sat or sun with a few ice blocks to see what they do. Bringing the .22 along got a new shooter that might wanna take a shot at something, but i dont think id give her the Mosin right away.

Shot great however this was the first time I shot it and I didn't think about bringing a hammer and punch down so all my shots were landing consistently to the left.

If I held a foot left of center I was getting 3" groups at 100yards from the bench. I'll have to bring down a hammer next time and get it sighted in.

As far as recoil is concerned I don't find it kicks hard at all despite what people say, it doesn't even come close to my 30-06.

Just wondering, where did they come from to be in such good shape. Which country released them from storage?

Russia and Ukraine mostly. All checked before shipped. So you don't get rusted or abused one. We fly over there and try to do our best

That would be an interesting trip!

It is always is. One thing the flight takes around 18 to 28 hours in total. If connecting flights than around 30+ . Tiring sometimes

I heartily agreed with you Sergey. I bought 4 "Nuggets" from Westrifle! 2 early '30s manuf. hex receivers(one Tula, 1 Izzy), a 42 wartime Izzy and a '38 Izhevsk, and a crate of 7.62x54R! (never mind the 2 SKS'...lol)
