Just got my ATT.....now what?

My ATT showed up 2 days after faxing in the forms,I am shocked and amazed at how fast it happened. What is my next move as I have my eye on a Browning Buck Mark Camper, do I buy the gun and then apply for a short term ATT or apply then buy the gun? I have never bought a gun before any advice???????????????????:confused:
 
For non-restricted: pick it, buy it, get it, bring it home (get it shipped to you) - all possible to do in one day.

For restricted: get membership at the gun club, buy restricted, apply for long term att, CFO will perform some check on you and once done they will issue to you two transport papers - long term att for your gun club and short term one which you have to use while picking up your restricted from seller.

When you buy restricted seller will send info to the CFO and you will get your short term ATT ones transaction is aprooved by your CFO.

Just keep in mind, if you buy restricted you have to be a member at the gun clud first (unless you have a collector status)

It's a bit different if you buy a gun from a retailer or private. If done through a retailer, they'll do most of the work for you.

If it's through a private sale, you can request for the short term att when you complete the transfer.
 
Bought the gun

I went in to the store and bought the Buck Mark,they phoned someone and did the paperwork and I picked it up later that day. Can't do anything with it until I take and pass the new members safety course at PCDHFC on Tuesday. Thanks for the advice..................cp:
