Just got my calls?

I got my calls today too. Both my references were called and responded within the hour. I asked the nice lady how long it would take and she really beat around the bush with the answer. Long and short of it was it depends on how long the provincial CFO takes to send it back to them. My call was day on day 16 from their signing for it.
Let's hope they both show up soon. Our local gun show is in late April, need something to poke gophers with.

cfc does not approve them. They now go to CFO where they will be approved or declined.
They probably approved it (unless your references gave them a reason not too) It should be in the mail within two weeks. You could always check it online, It was up to date on my record (but some peoples files are messed up), same day i got my calls the status changed to "your license has been issued... you should receive it within two weeks" and around 10 days later It was in my hand.

I am not sure if this is the norm,,,,but I mailed my RPAL aplication on Feb 18, 2009 it was received on the Feb 19 ( express mail) I got my call yesterday March 5, 2009. I checked the status on line it says my aplication has been completed and if I don't recieve my card in two weeks to call the registry...Wow,,,thats 10 working working days from the time my aplication was recieved to start the process to completion.....
That isn't the norm. Usually it is issued on the 29th day after they receive it if everything checks out. There is supposed to be a 28 day waiting period.
Unless you were upgrading from PAL to RPAL.
Hey guys wouldn't worry to much, unless one of your references said something bad which i doubt. i just got my RPAL at the end of jan and it was a week after I and my 2 references got called. It was a total of 6 weeks but there was the the xmas new years break in there. So unless you choose bad references they should both come shortly. I know its hard to wait but just use the time to save more money because you will need it once you get your license, I know I did.

I called the other day and they informed me they'd screwed up my name, but there was a note on the file to fix it. Once I put in my revised name it comes up with the "in progress message". This is almost as bad as waiting for opening day of your first deer season.
Today is day 25 hopefully the message changes on Monday.

Here's what it said on the CFC web site as of this morning, exactly 28 days since they received my RPAL/PAL application!!!
