hey guys just got my first ar15 from wolverine guns today, went in said hi,good guys, looked over their ar15s, i prefer the retro /basic look-carry handle etc. dont really like the rail accessories . anyhow another dude says hey this just came in. holding a ar . looked it over ,3 minutes....... ok,sold.damn!!!!
used ,bushmaster 16" heavy barrell, 1 in 9, collapsible stock (warming up to it) , looks well greased and cared for,guess the fellow just didnt use it much(i know what thats like).got one of those tactical smactical one point sling for it-- looks badass and fun-now i can get all tactical on some pop cans at the range.lol
havent really handled a ar since basic/sq and that was a what???C8 or c7 ???i think. so yeah any pointers with the bushmaster and sights type things ,i appreciate it .
where is the best place to get magazines ???? is there a preference of type of mags???? do i want the 20 or 30 rounders???(pinned of course) , is the 30s a pain or throw off the gun or anything like that....... just some basics please. thanx alot guys .not trolling just wondering what looks slicker,i imagine the 20s,30s probably too long. im on the work puter at moment but ill look up the sticky on ar 15s when i get home.
ill get a variety of bulk test ammo once i get to it , but where,who and what is the best bulk ammo to shoot in this puppy. 55 gr i imagine. im not gonna mess with handloads or anything like that. thanx for your time people.
