just got my first Precision Rifle any advise on scopes

Leupold MK4, Nightforce, S&B, Premier. Expect to pay anywhere from 1500 to 3000+ on optics for each rifle. Make sure you get a good set of rings and I'd also suggest a 1 piece 20 moa sloped base. Make sure the rings will work with the base you're buying.
 
Look at the Bushnell 3200 line up or the Falcon Menace scopes then. I don't know how repeatable the adjustments are on these lower end scopes but I'm sure the optics are probably decent.

Yes, it can get you some very useable optics.

Also, consider used. You can get a 30 to 50% increase in purchasing power. All good scopes are also backed by excellent warranties that typically follow the scope.

I have a "Menace" by "Falcon Optics", and I recommend it. Many features like sub-mil reticle (.5 mil hashes), side focus, 30mm tube, target turrets, 4.5-14x, great scope. Under $400 shipped to Northwest Territories also.
