Just got my GSG 110 RND 10/22 Drum!

I just bought my 10/22 today and ran a few mags through both the BC mag and the GSG. Had two misfeeds on the GSG the first time it was filled, then only one stovepipe on the second mag, third mag ran flawlessly. I found it easy to load - way easier than the BC, and so far I'm impressed.

Loaded it 5 times, shot it 5 times. 1 FTF, I love this magazine!
Word of caution: don't go spinning the inner drum around without putting rounds in!!!
There's an inside plastic strip that has "dummy" rounds on it that are required to push the last 5-6 rounds from the drum "gear" up through the metal neck to the feed lips. Spinning the drum around will pull the last dummy round from the strip if no rounds go in behind it to advance all the dummys, and eventually the strip.
-my helper did this and I had to get the real small torx bits to tak my magazine apart. A quick google search provided me with the correct tension (2 and 1/2 turns). Basic mechanical observation is all it takes to figure out how it is assembled and how it's functions.

That was very long-winded.

I got a GSG Drum Mag this week as well. My first loading was a painful experience. It jammed FTF and FTE every few rounds. Man it was going to be a pain to return it!

I reloaded it a second time and apparently it just needed to have the springs worked in. The second and all subequent loadings cycled flawlessly. This magazine is awesome!
The only drawback is how long it takes to load 110 rounds. I can load it in about 8-10 min cycling one at a time. It will not work with any of the aftermarket loaders reliably so I can load and shoot my 2 32rd promags, twice, faster than loading and shooting the drum but you just cant beat firing the drum!
