I had tx my norc to Gunnar about 2 months ago, in order to get the 'norc prep'. It wasn't shooting reloads HP, or WCs, and it was painted a desert ghey, and it had the usual china roughage. When I Rx, man o man, what a difference. for 200 bucks he tuned it, blasted it, and refinished it (removing the china marks leaving just the serial - I like). I took it out to the range yesterday (It has been sitting at the post office for a few weeks while I was at sea), and not a single jam, and I hit the steel chickens from the 30m line consistently. Whatever he did, has now made it my prefered gun over the glock.

I'll post pictures tonite.
I have to give armco +1 on the tune and prep. I will send my 1911's for the norc prep and tune regardless if its a norc or not. When the CF Para gets delivered, its going up to see him first.

DAMNIT sorry, got caught up at work, and didn't get to taking pictures. Will try again tonight.

People who've never shot one of Gunnar's tuned Norc's think that it doesn't really make much difference - that a Norc is just a Norc. Let's hope they keep thinking that! :D

Having an Armco/Gunnar tuned 1911 is a bonus.

I love matte finish 1911's.... [goes to my affinity for WWII USGI 1911A1's]...
