Get a Gsg 1911-22lr.
Practice good shooting habits, get used to the gun, the range, and all that jazz.
Than, once your set with that, you will have enough fiddling under your belt to move to any bigger caliber, and you'll have saved yourself a ton in ammo!
Going straight for a 9mm or 45 acp gets expensive quick with the learning curve.
