Just got my RPAL, how long did it take you to get yours?

Just a little question I had. I counted on my calendar the total time it took me to recieve my RPAL from handing it over to the post office on my end to getting it back in the mail. --- 50 days. I live in yellowknife, NWT, so mail transit times are going to be longer than someone in the south who are on central mail lines. How long did it take you to get yours?

I wasted 4 months to get mine. My brother did his PAL about a month after me and waited about 3 weeks before he sent in his paperwork and he got his card a week after mine Unless you checked yes on any of the questions that they asked (like have you been laid off in the last year) it will take longer.
They even phoned both my references but did not phone by brothers references

Mine took more then two monthes.

About 1 week. I faxed in my test results to the CFO who entered it into the system. 1 week later I had my card.

For me, after I got everything sorted out, I forgot to get a signature on my photo, they got it all back the day before new years. I ended up having to wait till the end of april or early may before I got my card. This time it was more my fault than theirs, if I had only made sure everything was in order before I sent everything off in the mail But all is well now, have had my R-PAL for a year now, I got one restricted and werkin on the second one

That was like 6 years ago. I can't remember that far back. Probably less then a month though.

1st RPAL renewal = 26 days
2nd RPAL renewal = 64 days

My son just got his first RPAL and it took 38 days.

ok, I did mine about 2 months ago, I sent in my papers the same day i finished. My buddy did his pal and rpal with me, and sent it in after I did by about a week. He got his a week ago, I still have yet to see mine.

No, I did nothing wrong on the application and I have been an angel my whole life.

B'day is in April. Received renewal form in the mail in Jan. Filled it out, attached photo and sent it in. Had my new card within two weeks.

On a side note. A friend of mine lost his PAL card. He called up the toll free number, explained the situation and had a new card within two weeks as well.

mine took almost 6 months to get authorized.. Was some issues i guess.. But once i called the CFO and got everything straight, i had my card in less than a week.

I always pondered why people wouldn't get their RPAL at the same time as their PAL...isn't it easy to just do it while you're there?
Not saying you guys did that, just saying...
Mine took like 30-35 days and it was the first one I ever got. They didn't call my references.
