Just Got My Russian Tokarev 7.62x25.

Corrosive or non-corrosive FMJ. That's all I know of. You probably need the new factory ammo as it doesn't contain steel. If you think it's too expensive to feed, the TT33 might not be for you.

Thanks st1264... I just want to buy a few boxes of non FMJ for the indoor, then when it warms up and the snow goes I'll get a crate of surplus for the outdoor range.

I have 5 of the T33s 2 0f which have the wooden grips. They are great fun to shoot, they are fairly light for the load and can get hard on the wrist after a 100 rounds. This site...http://www.tokarev.com/ has lots of guys moding the Tokarev. You can get some cool grips here...http://www.marschalgrips.com/. Some of the ammo is pretty old when you buy the surplus and it is corosove so you need to clean well after use.

I found the surplus ammo too hot for the little gun. Very easy to reload and much more fun to shoot.

That is what the pistol was designed to shoot. Factory ammo is supposedly just as hot. Light bullet=High Velocity, lots of fun!

I am looking for non FMJ for the indoor range

Most ammo is FMJ. You need ammo that doesn't contain steel. FMJ is safe for indoor ranges.
