I just bought one of the ones P&D had in stock...synthetic stock and Norinco markings with bayonet lug. When doing the ping test it rings like a bell! :)

$499 + GST.

Congratulations on your new purchase, let us know what you think when you get her to the range, they look like very nice rifle's and are supposed to be quite accurate right out of the box.
I have one on pre order at Marstar and can't wait for her to arrive.

I think this is referring to when you #### the action and then release the bolt. The result is hopefully a consistent ping resonating from the action down the barrel to the flash suppressor caused by the bolt slamming forward.

Congratulations on the new rifle as well. Now you need another as I hear if you only have one it will eventually die of loneliness.

A helpful fellow at P&D demonstrated this to me today. I didn't know before what it was either...
