Just got my Tactical-Inc...

Those two 10/22s sound pretty cool. Lemme know how the evolution stock is, especially if you've held a Tapco T6.

As for the VQ auto bolt release...you should have saved your money. I did it myself with 10 minutes of free time and a piece of sand paper. ;)

for the price, it wasnt worth my time, i took it out looked at it, considered it... said forget it cuzz i was already ordering triggers and crap from rimfire anyways... lol...

Cheers.

Rob

ps, i have never held a tapco stock...
plastic has never appealled to me at all, when i can go metal i will.

My four composite mags were $33.33 each plus $17 shipping for a grand total of $150.47. They took 8 days to get here.

Does anyone know how these comp mags compare to the Buttler Creek ones?
I was thinking about getting a couple of the aluminum ones, but if these are better than the Buttler Creek ones, that might be the way to go.

I have 2 Buttler creek ones that have split along the seams and I had to reglue them together.

Get the aluminum mags if you love Mercedes Benz. It's more expensive, and the same thing as something cheaper! :p

The aluminum ones are double the price, and they don't function any better. Composite glass filled material is also much more durable than the aluminum ever will be.

And yes. I hate Mercedes Benz. :D

The composite mags are definitely worth more in my opinion.

The comps also have little holes in the materail so you can see how many rounds you have left. I dont beleive the Aluminum one do have this feature.

get 4 comps for 150 or
get 2 aluminums for 150

I went with the comps. What can i say im trigger happy.

It only takes me a min or 2 to put a hunderd rounds in.

i dont see any need for one my self. Just get more mags so you dont have to reload them in the field :D

The hot lips loader works pretty well. It's not perfect, but it's better than doing it by hand. It's slightly faster once you get good at it, and it saves your finger tips from getting a bunch of metal on em.

Well, after an annoying day at the range with brand "X" hi cap mag, I just placed my order for 4 of these puppies. Hopefully, my feeding woes will dissappear.

As anyone tried modifying them to work with the CST bolt hold open device?

Been very happy with how this works (last shot hold open) but a royal pain with some brands of mags (holds open when it shouldn't). I bet that being able to 'shim' the mag will resolve that issue.

We shall see...

I don't think you'll have much luck with the CST bolt device (At least every body else who tried on rimfire central didn't have any luck)...

From what I gathered, you need to give a little more tension in the spring for the bolt stop to work properly. On factory magazine, this is easily done with an allen key... on the TI mag, the little arm will just put enough pressure on the follower so that the last round doesn't come up hight enough to be picked up by the bolt... You'll end up with an empty chamber and 1 round left in the magazine.

Well that would royally suck. I bought these mags in hopes that they would have stronger mag springs ie for full auto use.

Yes, the CST device does require a strong push to get them to work. Work really well with the 10rds mags. Not so good with the high cap ones.

Oh well, at least these Tact Inc mags will run properly so there will be no feeding jams which I am also experiencing. I can always take the CST set up out if it doesn't work.
