Just ordered a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50

Well I just (about 5 minutes ago) ordered a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50mm scope from one of the supporting dealers for my Cadex/Rem 700 build. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can get out and shoot my new gun! Now the waiting game begins...

I picked up the scope for $950 with free shipping. The build was done by myself, nothing crazy or custom so I didn't need a smith.

Awesome! How do you find the 6x9 for shooting off a bench? Would a 9x13 ,be better ,maybe?

I haven't even shot this rifle yet (been waiting on getting glass for it), but I have the same bipod on my Rem SPS Varmint 223 and my Thompson R55 22lr. I haven't had any issues with the height, either from a bench or prone.

I love these scopes, they work well with my glasses. Nice reticle not too thick or thin. I have both of them in moa and on my 2 target Anschutz,s I found both lightly used on the EE.

My buddy just bought the 4-16x50 version. Great price, I think these are being discontinued which is why there's such a great price.

Well given my wonderful location next to Santa Claus in Nunavut, Canada Post gives an estimated arrival date of Jan 31... Ugh, so far away haha. The excitement is killing me! It's times like this when I truly envy all of those who can order something and get it within a couple of days...
